Job description:

We are looking for a skilled Flooring Installer with strong, hands-on experience in the trade. The ideal candidate understands the full installation process across multiple flooring systems and can handle layout, prep, and finish work with accuracy and pride. This role involves installing a variety of materials—such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl, carpet, and tile—while delivering durable, clean workmanship and maintaining a safe, organized jobsite. A positive, professional attitude with homeowners, contractors, and other trades is essential, along with the ability to communicate clearly and represent the company well on every project.

Duties

  • Install various flooring materials including tile, hardwood, laminate, and carpet according to specifications.

  • Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine installation requirements.

  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fitting flooring materials.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to quality standards.

  • Conduct restoration work related to water damage, ensuring proper fixture installation and material restoration.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.

Experience

  • Prior flooring experience is preferred, but not required for candidates who are motivated, quick to learn, and eager to build their skills in the trade.

  • Familiarity with tile laying techniques and best practices for various flooring materials.

  • Ability to work with hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

  • Experience in reading schematics and understanding project specifications is preferred.

  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
